October 23, 2001: Who-are-you contest
Use a distinguishing feature of a real or fictitious person, dead or alive.
(Example: A can of spinach=Popeye) Now, don't use that but
be creative and think up your own. Keep it simple. Members
will try to guess your ID intent. There will be prizes for the best
guessers and for some of the most clever "features".

Local ski areas will present information on their expansions and special
programs. There will be some free stuff including lift tickets.
DECEMBER 11, 2001: The Great White Elephant Gift
Exchange
Remember the great time the last three years.
Please bring an inexpensive present (not completely worthless please–clever
is OK)
i.e. something found around your house perhaps ski related.—Oh Yeah,
wrapped to disguise.
Everyone bringing a gift will be able to pick a gift from the table-but
there is a catch, The 1st person picks & keeps the gift, the 2nd person
picks from the table and then has the choice of keeping it or exchanging
with the 1st person. The last person can pick from any of the previous
gifts. Numbers for the order of choice will be drawn randomly to
keep things sort of fair.
Also ... Learn more about upcoming ski trips, non-skiing events, hiking,
biking, white water rafting, etc.
JAN., 8,2001: Country – Western Dance
Barbara, your jolly program chairman, has lined up a professional line
dance instructor to guide us through some popular Country- Western moving
& grooving. Come in your favorite western outfit or everyday stuff
but come and join us.
Learn about upcoming spring and summer non-skiing activities.
If you would like to lead an outing, please speak to a board member or
officer about it to get it on the schedule..
