Ptarmigan held it's annual Summer Social this past Saturday, July 20th,
2002 at the Allentown Rose Garden. Beautiful weather surrounded the
days events as nearly 60 people enjoyed Food, Fun, and Friendship.
Members enjoyed cooking hamburgers and hot dogs complimented by their "favorite
dish" that each were asked to bring. Volleyball was played through
out the day and many used the exercise to work off those "extra pounds" brought
on by those fabulous desserts. The Social lasted the entire day running
from noon till dark. Congrats go out to Jackie and her "crew" for all
their hard work in making this one of our best Summer Socials to date!
